Our Easter Celebration
We had a fabulous Easter weekend. There were hard cooked eggs to be colored on Saturday which thrilled the auntlings. On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed a dinner of ham, potato salad, hash brown casserole, macaroni and cheese, dressing(minus the chicken), crescent rolls,and a four layer chocolate cake.
Normally we're a serve everything out of the pan or mixing bowl bunch but this year I got fancy and used some serving pieces that had been in the cupboard for ages. They had been there so long that my mother can't remember exactly when she got them. You can see a close up of the platter on the ham picture. Setting everything up buffet style in one spot instead of scattered all over the kitchen worked out a million times better.
